I haven't been using py2exe for a while as I've been coding a new project and no need to make production versions. Now when I try to run it I (almost) always get something like this: running py2exe creating C:\projects\trunk\callerid\build creating C:\projects\trunk\callerid\build\bdist.win32 creating C:\projects\trunk\callerid\build\bdist.win32\winexe creating C:\projects\trunk\callerid\build\bdist.win32\winexe\collect-2.5 creating C:\projects\trunk\callerid\build\bdist.win32\winexe\bundle-2.5 creating C:\projects\trunk\callerid\build\bdist.win32\winexe\temp creating C:\projects\trunk\callerid\dist error: could not create 'C:\projects\trunk\callerid\dist': Access is denied Sometimes it fails on the 'build' folder. Sometimes it can't access my 'graphics' subfolder. Sometimes it works okay. This is happening on both my systems which are WinXP Pro with NTFS. I am an Administrator on both these systems. I can create and delete stuff at will in any of those directories. My entire project direcory shows to be 'Read Only' according to Windows. But Windows almost always says that about everything. I've done 'attrib -R' on the whole tree. py2exe seems to be the only thing that's giving problems, any ideas? Thanks, Michael |
