[Py2exe-users] Remove Encodings?

Hi,

Just joined the group, so I apologize if this has been covered
already. Done some searching on Google and have not found an answer
yet (that I know of)...

I'm trying to 'optimize' the size of the 'dist' output of py2exe by
removing encoding... Running py2exe-0.6.9.win32-py2.6 and using Python
2.6.1 using the following setup.py I got from the py2exe website:

                      ascii=True,  # Exclude encodings

When I compile my script, the entire encoding library are still
compiled.  Based on what I've read, the 'ascii=True' should mute that
operation... Any clue what I'm doing wrong????
