When Acrobat Reader is runnig, I cannot use pwsafe. What happens is that the
dialog does not stop to let me paste the username and password. Instead, the
dialog just flashes by and pwsafe terminates before i could paste the name
and password. Termination and/or killing acroread solves the issue. I'm on arch
linux with pwsafe 0.2.0

Yup. That's acrobat reader for you. I've always wondered why it sniffs everything you put in the clipboard, whether or not you are pasting into it or some other program.

Anyway acrobat was supposed to be blocked automatically by the default value of the PWSAFE_IGNORE list, but due to a parsing bug it wasn't.

The updated code on https://github.com/nsd20463/pwsafe corrects this and should work.

Advice: acroreader isn't that great. The KDE pdf reader okular, of fox-something in windows, are much faster and less buggy.

My comment above concerning this being blocked automatically is wrong. You need to add acroreader to PWSAFE_IGNORE environment variable for acroreader to be blocked.

Use exactly the name which pwsafe prints.
