Password Finder 1.0

Summary

Password Finder is a simple tool that allows the user to test many combinations of passwords, using multiple threads, testing each combination using a custom shell script or utility.

This can be used to unlock an account, decrypt an encrypted partition or any other kind of use.

Duplicates

The same password will not be tried twice - even if the tool is rerun with a different expression.

Parameters

java -jar passwordFinder.jar (expression) (tried file) (number of threads) (command)

(expression) being the password token expression (as above)
(tried file) being a file that contains a list of tried passwords (populated by the tool)
(number of threads) being the number of threads to use
(command) the command/shell script to run on each password

Shell Script

The shell script must return 0 to indicate a working password. All other exit codes will assume an incorrect password.
