A quick update to let people know the project is still going, I finally got round to working on network code, this is going well, so I'm aiming for a beta release with local and network 2 player games, and a rudimentary AI mode. If anyone wants to contribute better AI code, there is an interface to do this, so please get in touch.
VS game now has a display of next two pieces, better scoring, nuisance drop at right time, better defeat effect, now possible to play a reasonable game. Will build a release over the weekend.
Preliminary code for a VS game went in today, and I played a very sad game of Yupo against myself. The remaining features will be added in a few days, and are:
Proper match and chain scoring,
Preview of the next piece(s) to drop, and
Display of nuisance Yupos waiting to drop.
When these are added, I should be able to package everything up for a first release, to play Human Vs Human only.
Hopefully the issue with getting the PNG image files from CVS are now fixed, please let me know if they still don't work...
