Hello rubyol,
The URL must be http://localhost:8080/pulse/WEBDAV/public/…. Please note that the trailing slash / is mandatory…
Please let me know whether this solves your problem…
Bye Daniel
P.S.
For the root-folder the URL must look like this:
http://localhost:8080/pulse/WEBDAV/public/
in order to be valid.
In fact,I have connect success. But i cannot new a dir,or a file ,also a copy , i get a error. maybe i have not writeable Permission. I wonder if some would modify? Thank you!

Hello rubyol,
I think your problem might be related to a wrong setting in your Bitkinx WebDAV-client.
I suggest you have a look at the WebDAV related article of the manual for pulse which can be found here:
http://http://pulse.torweg.org/site/Pulsar/en_US.CMS.displayCMS.212./the-virtual-file-system
The bottom section of the page deals with setting up your connection using Bitkinex.
In particular i suggest you have a look at the following image Fig.6:
http://http://pulse.torweg.org/site/__v008/vfs-public/documentation/administration/virtual-file-system/vfs-bit_kinex-3_large.png
Should this not solve your problem a log-file-excerpt of the pulse log-file when trying to connect might be helpful.
Cheers Daniel
Sorry for posting broken URLs…
They would be
for the manual:
http://pulse.torweg.org/site/Pulsar/en_US.CMS.displayCMS.212./the-virtual-file-system
and for the image:
http://pulse.torweg.org/site/__v008/vfs-public/documentation/administration/virtual-file-system/vfs-bit_kinex-3_large.png
Thank your reply.
The setting in My Bitkinx WebDAV-client is ok.
after setting Follow the manual:
http://pulse.torweg.org/site/Pulsar/en_US.CMS.displayCMS.195./setting-up-the-initial-roles-and-permissions--access-control
it is ok!
ps
1. upload file only with client tools, such as Bitkinx ?
2. Bitkinx is bad for zh-cn file name .
sorry for my poor english.
Hello rubyol,
There is an other free WebDAV-client which we use. Its called Cyberduck… I think it supports chinese characters. You can find it here:
http://cyberduck.ch.
In our WebDAV-realated manual pages (see previous posts) you also find the description how to connect to pulse with Cyberduck.
I hope it helps,
Daniel
