I installed Popup Killer on three different machines and
was unable to download banned popups from your
central server. I received an "incorrect password" error
That is the exact same problem that I just posted on this
AM. I cannot get it to download anything, says I need
password, or incorrect password, or error, etc.... and also, it
states to register I need a license code, that I should have
received in email, but I never received a license code in
email. Help!

I'm the guy who opened this thread. The reason why you
can't use synchronize and the way to get the black list is
described below in the 2002-12-06 09:04 message by "dnarby"
PUK is still the best popup kiler and it's still free!

Are you people Idiots? READ THE SECOND POST!!! The
developer has discontinued support for the synchronization.
this product was commercially discontinued and released to
the OSS community.

Wow. I'll call the "nobody" who posted the flame at
today "Mr. Nobody". Obviously, Mr Nobody did not read the
posts he so vehemently suggests that other people read. Or
perhaps Mr Nobody just likes to vent for no reason. Maybe
it's chronic indigestion.
This is a closed issue. Yes, somebody posted a response
on "2003-06-07 01:04" that could have been avoided had
that person read previous responses. However, that was 2
months ago and I responded to that person with basically the
same message as Mr Nobody did, although I was somewhat
more gentle in my approach. You see, I make mistakes too,
and I like to be treated courteously. Therefore, I am
courteous to everyone that isn't blatantly arrogant. I guess
Mr Nobody ago doesn't think he makes mistakes.

Yep! I'm having the same problem. Also, the "bug report"
URL in the help system still points back to software.xfx.net.

That's because the original developer discontinued support of this
feature. You can download an active list from Boo-Boo's site:
http://software.xfx.net/~bruce/
As well as get more help there. You'll have to download the list, then
select "blacklist:" then "merge" from the main menu.
