I've downloaded PopUp Killer three times from
SourceForge.net. Every time I try to install it, I get an
error box that says: "Failed to load control 'INET' from
MSINET.OCX. Your version may be outdated. Try
using the version that was included with the program."
I'm using Windows 98 on a public library computer.

You need a new version of the file MSINET.OCX.

It's not a bug in PUK. As the first responder said, you need
an update copy of msinet.ocx.
Doing a google search, I found many places to download
msinet.ocx. Here's one, along with instructions for installing it:
Download MSINET.ocx from
http://www.relaxingaudio.com/msinet.ocx
Copy it into the \windows\system32 directory.
Open the run dialog box using "Start ! Run..." and
enter "Regsvr32 MSINET.ocx" to register the DLL
That's all there is to it...
Oh, BTW... Why are you installing programs on a public library
compter??? Just curious.....
