#8 Add generic way of interfacing the daemon to hardware

There should be some generic method of interfacing the daemon to HW that has PTP capabilities.

One example would be for platforms that have an switch interrupt line that provides an interrupt on PTP packet ingress/egress. (Marvell supports this on their more recent Ethernet switches. They have transparant clock capabilities. I also have HW that I could donate to the cause if someone was willing to work with me on it.)
