Hi, been playing with PTPd on Ubuntu Server 12.04.1 and find that my test client's clock is almost exactly 1 second slow. "master' clock is a 12.04.1 server running gpsd and ntpd syncronised to PPS. Slave is Ubuntu desktop 12.04.1.
Running the mater like this:
sudo ptpd -dcth -b eth1 -s 1
And the slave like this:
sudo ptpd -cDh
Based on my WWV clock the 'master' is real close, so not sure why the delay of 1 second. Thought about delays in the stack, but thought it odd that it is awful close to 1 second… Tried -o +1 to no avail… Looking to see if someone smarter than me has any other ideas to try…
