I've started releasing the slackware packages I build on top of the full install of slackware I use, currently 12.0. Any dependencies to any package listed here can be found in slackware's official release packages or in another package provided in this project.
Most of these packages are created automatically with default settings with my "slacktools" scripts. If the package release name ends with "pete.tgz" then I had to build it and package it by hand and it probably contains one or more custom options or changes to the source.
the 1.4 release of autopkg.pl supports python's distutils packaging now, so python, perl and automake/autoconf packages should build now (tested with BitTorrent and that gnome-bittorrent mime-sink app thingy and its dependencies).
for the next release i'm thinking of adding the ability to bootstrap operating systems or at least support cross-compilers. they should technically work now but you never know until you try it.
it's been a long time since i've updated anything here, but i'm back. hopefully i'll find time to update releases of autopkg.pl and post more projects of mine; i've got a few noteworthy ones coming up like a simple Challenge/Response mail filter.
if any autopkg.pl users make any new hint files for some software they're trying to compile or need help feel free to drop me a line at email@example.com.
OK. In light of needing a good repository of old code to impress people looking at my resume, i shall be making a new "CVS"-ish collection of my code that i havent officially released. Basically all the small programs i make that dont make it to this page.
