Poetica Studios Java Library / News: Recent posts

A pre-release for Version 0.2.0.x titled 0.2.0.72 PRE 1 has been uploaded. This is a pre-alpha release intended mostly to allow the library's users a sneak peek at the coming 0.2.0.x release. Interested users will likely find the documentation and source code packages the most useful in learning about the upcoming 0.2.0.x release. Check it out at the following URL:

Version 0.2.0.x has been delayed due to feature creep and lack of time for testing. Thus, the next release of the Poetica Studios Java Library will not meet its mid-February deadline. The current date of the release has not yet been determined.

The Poetica Studios Java Library Version 0.2.0.x is taking shape. It will contain several new packages (most prominently, the tree and library packages) in addition to a lot more documentation and enhanced javadocs. The new version will also contain some reworking of code in Version 0.1.0.67 to support cleaner implementations and to take advantage of new library and design features.

Look for Version 0.2.0.x by mid-February 2004.

The Poetica Studios Java Library web site source release 0.1.0.67 has been uploaded. The web site is written in PHP using the Poetica Studios PHP Library for the layout (a Poetica Studios project that has not yet had web space established for it).

The Poetica Studios Java Library Donations section is now functional. Please read the notice on the Donations section for the project's declaration of intent concerning donations. The Donations sections can be viewed at the following URL:

Notes for Release 0.1.0.67 have been uploaded to the server. You can find a copy attached to each release package. It contains some rudimentary documentation in addition to general notes.

Poetica Studios Java Library Version 0.1.0.67 has been released into the Build, Documentation, Linux, Source, and Win32 packages.

Poetica Studios Java Library is a general Java library used by all Poetica Studios Java software products. The library includes utilities ranging in use from serialization to arrays to debugging and includes many helpful classes such as object pointers and stored actions.
