How about a restart behavior from a specific weapon?

For instance, rather than killing httpd I just want to
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd restart.

Why not add a switch object that maps to the
/sbin/shutdown -r now or some equivalent command?

    Both of these features are mentioned in the TODO file:

    --type of weapon determines what signal to send with the
    kill command
    on monster death (eg. pistol=kill -1, shotgun=kill -2, ...
    plasma &
    BFG=kill -9 ???)
    NOTE: rocket launcher probably not a good choice because
    of collateral
    damage (maybe protect pid monsters?)

    --shutdown/reboot machine with psdoom*.wad level exit switch(s)
    NOTE: need to make a custom texture to notify user of this
    interface

    However, if I ever get around to working on psDooM again,
    I'll put those a bit higher on the priority list.
