Performance of the next release will be really increased. Current working version of program can find 2000-3000 proxies by google search in one time.
Also you will get possibility to customize parse routine for specific sites. It can bee useful for improved search.

Proxy Searcher cannot be installed on XP because Microsoft doesn't support .NET Framework 4.5 on XP operation system. As workaround I would suggest to use virtual machine with supported OS. Unfortunately .NET 4.5 framework cannot be refused because of a lot of reasons. Next release (2.4) will check OS before installation.

Implementation of this version was really hard because it required a lot of changes related to support of socks proxy. Support of socks protocols was implemented from zero because standard C# classes doesn't allow to work with socks proxies. Because of a lot of changes this version is beta. If you cannot use Proxy Searcher 2.3 because of bugs just install previous one and let us know about your findings. ... read more

I would like to add support of SOCKS proxies for Proxy Searcher. I developed first approximation of this feature and it works. Release will not come soon because a lot of manual stuff I need to do in order to make release. Therefore I cannot estimate next release. Hopefully It will come in a few months.

1. Redesigned grid with search results. Now it is more fancy.
2. Added possibility to get proxy type for all type of checkers.
3. Fixed spelling issue.

Thank you for your feedbacks! I have read a lot of them and tried to implement most important requests. In the incoming releases I will try to add blacklist functionality and will investigate how to avoid infected sites, because anti-viruses becomes crazy sometimes. Actually Proxy Searcher do not executes downloaded code, therefore viruses cannot infect your computer. But anti-viruses don't know that and interrupt Proxy Searcher work.... read more

Whats new?

1. Added new search engine by files from selected folder. If you have saved proxy lists in the format [ip]:[port] this option will work nice.
2. Added new search engine by list of urls. If you want to find proxies on specific sites select this engine.
3. New version could be installed without uninstalling previous version.
