My first hunch would be that this has something to do with Proxool shutdown and hot-deploys. Are you hot-deploying your app? If you are, are you sure that you shut down the previous Proxool instance properly? If you use the ServletConfigurator this will be done automatically for you, otherwise you need to call ProxoolFacade.shutdown(0) when your app is unloaded (e.g. from a servlets destroy() method.) Could this be the problem? Please get back to me if its not and I'll investigate further.
