#55 login - keep getting returned to login screen

I can login to the admin screen with the default admin/password combination, but get kicked back to the admin login screen every time I try to click on a link. I've found several references to this problem in the forum and support requests but can't seem to find the solution. (They all say that the problem has been fixed but don't give an answer about what to do or how to fix it.) I'm using the latest version of Props 0.8. What do I need to do to get Props functional?
