My pages wont load the url showing is

http://www.abcdsite.com/?module=displaysection&section_id=49&format=html

I thought the url (link) should say

http://www.abcdsite.com/index.php?module=displaysection&section_id=49&format=html

  index.php is not necessary. The 2nd url doesn't work either. Could be your server configuration.
