Can't save projects at all

Clicking on the Save button or Save as causes the program to crash and close. ProjectLibre is therefore totally unusable.

I got a similar behavior but, the program didn't crash. However, it took 10 - 30 seconds for the Save as dialog to open up the first time after program start. After the first time, the dialog opened up right away. The same behavior was observed when selecting Open project directly after program start.
