Yes... and there you are screwed :)

You need to install PostgreSQL 8.4 as 9.0 is not supported yet.

If you want to bleed from the edge of technology, you can update OpenACS to 5.7 (it is in Beta at the moment), which should take care of the basics. And then fix every bug you find in ]project-open[ which results through the issue with missing_from and the default_with_oids (though I assume, that isn't much of an issue).
