Hi, this message is mainly for Spanish-spoken people. I'm Spanish spoken, but I'm not sure how to translate "timesheet" into business formal Spanish. My best proposal is to translate it as "Horas" (for timesheet tab) or "Horas de trabajo" (for page titles). A timesheet is literally a "hoja de tiempos", what is traditionally related with "Fichajes" or when an employee get in/out to work. In that way, I think there is no a short way to translate it into Spanish, with a formal business word. A client of mine uses "AMHO" which stands for "Monthly Activity in Hours" (in Spanish: Actividad Mensual por HOras). But I'm not sure if it is an "internal" word. What do you think?... is "Horas" the right translation? PS: Maybe I should post also in Sourceforge forum to reach to more Spanish-spoken people.... -- Miguel A. Cordova SAFTEL SISTEMAS SL |
