[project-open-localization] What happens when you reimport XML-catalogue files?

This one is for the ]PO[/OpenACS gurus there:

If  you reimport an XML-catalogue export (one taken from my local system 
already localized) into the Localization server, will the system import 
my translation into the database and leave the "holes" in English, so 
that when exporting again into XML I will get the complete up-to-date 
set of messages (a mix of messages in Spanish - in my case - and in 
US-English actually)? Or will the keys for the "missing" messages be 
deleted?
