For a while now, Trados is no longer the only tool on the market. This implies various log formats that cannot be uploaded in ]po[.

Adding a simple feature showing percentage boxes where you can manually add the wordcounts coming out Passolo, Catalyst, accross, SDLX and the like would help a lot.

You only need 5 or 6 boxes with similar percentages as those from Trados (anyway the rate matrix are always the same) and an Apply button to load and calculate your adjusted wordcount.

This would be an handy replacement to the calculator!

This should be fairly easy to add as all the logic already exists in ]po[.

This would also apply when you have a log containing hundreds of files and you do not want to upload it (for various reasons).

We are also using automated Transit word-counts in PO. The problem is not just entering the values into the existing word-count table, but the weighing and column names are not 100% the same between different CAT programs. This would need major customization and someone who would be willing to compare the output of those CAT programs mentioned above to check for similarities and differences in their word-counts.

Closing actually. Checkout the alternative wordcount integration pages in the translation package. You would have to write a similar integration to your favourite TM tool. That's pretty easy given the number of examples.
