Hi.
We have Projectopen, V 5 installed locallaly and has been working for many months.
Al of a sudden it started throwing up ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS on login page an no one can login. We tried different browsers, clearing cache and also restarting the services. It is not helping.
The last activity which was likely done was time sheet entry by some one.
Would greatly appreciate a response as we have started using the system and we are highly dependent on it now

Can you please look at the /web/projop/log/error.log and check for "error:" or "warning:" strings?
You should be able to identify the "loop" there in the error.log. Please post such a loop here, so that we can have a look.
Also: Please enable in Chrome: Menu -> More Tools -> Developer Tools and look at the requests. Can you identify any error conditions?
Cheers
Frank

You have to check the URLs served, and what the PO server returns.
Use Chrome developer tools and post both request and result headers and contents here.

Better do a new install on a different machine, copy the PostgreSQL dump from your current machine and restore there (search Google for "project-open backup restore").
However, please consider what exactly you changed. I believe there is a good chance that the change was "outside" of ]po[ on the Linux or network side.

Hi Frank
Please find attached the dump from google developer tools. I have given the first three records and then subsequent ones are reloops.
We reinstalled in another server and it gives is the same error after we restored from the last database backup.
Now we are attempting to restore an earlier version of postgres backup to check out.

Hi Lux,
Do you have a copy of the "bad" database dump?
Could you try to compare the "apm_parameter_values" table in order to check which parameter (I understand it was a parameter...) caused the issue?
Do you know that you an actually run a "diff" on database dumps? You have to unzip the file, but then it should work pretty well on the SQL level.
Cheers
