I have a running system without the nginx being on 80 and getting the auto backup configure.
The Download Required files, maybe should not be active hyperlinks. I downloaded all 3 of them and then created the folder and mv them into it.
I also copied and pasted the Please install the database using:
apt-get install libpq5 postgresql-9.6 postgresql-client-9.6 \ postgresql-client-common postgresql-common postgresql-contrib-9.6 \ ssl-cert postgresql-doc postgresql-doc-9.6 libdbd-pg-perl libdbi-perl \ sysstat
but after running it a couple times, i realized that I had to remove the backslashes \
**/etc/nginx/nginx.conf to look like this (modifying the "server {...}" section): **
I tried editing it according to what you have. I checked it a couple times and naturally there are lines that are commented out and maybe one or two that do not exist in the instructions.
It would be good to include a step to copy the original nginx.conf file before editing it.
doing the automatic backup steps chmod ug+x /root/bin/export-dbs # mark backup script as executable perl /root/bin/export-dbs # execute backup script
it told me there was no /root/bin/export-dbs
Just to let you know that we have updated the installation procedure to use ]po[ V5.0.3, which has become the release candidate and will very likely be the final V5.0 version.
Cheers
