Using ProGuard GUI in optimizing mode, input class files are processing even if output files are up to date (forceprocessing mode was not enabled) : so new output files are re-generated.
Thanks for your report. The GUI currently doesn't remember if or when any settings have been changed, so it always processes the code when you press "Process". The checkbox is more relevant when the configuration is saved to a file.

Thanks Eric, but there is a strange behavior: when using proguard in command line with a proper configuration file, all input files are re-processed even if only 1 input file is updated.
Also if you put input files which are older than configuration file, then the input files are not processed.
