But now that I check again, that text doesn't change even as I move into/outof directories I have setup with DisplayFirstChdir messages. And I do see the texts when using WS-FTP. This is another mismatch between MSIE and Internet standards. It just doesn't _do_ some FTP-ish things. I've searched the support.microsoft.com site and didn't find anything approaching this situation. Found a couple other gems, though. (Induced indigestion warning!)
