This file also shows the client logging in anonymously. Your posted config didn't have an <Anonymous> section, but did have the AnonymousGroup directive. As mentioned in the docs for AnonymousGroup, though: http://www.proftpd.org/docs/directives/linked/config_ref_AnonymousGroup.html AnonymousGroup sessions use a special dynamic configuration, which cannot be changed from anything in the proftpd.conf. In short, I don't think you should be using AnonymousGroup for what you're trying to achieve.
