add pombase link to gene/genome

Hi,
Could you add "PomBase" to the "gene/genome" section.
PomBAse is the primary Gene/Genome database authority for fission yeast. We maintain the genome sequence and the annotation. All of the others source here are representations of PomBase data...therefore this seems the most approriate place for the MOD link?
cheers

I agree. This page is not a product of PRO (but some of the same people are involved) so I'll put in a request. And now I realize that the previous comment about PRO being put under "ontologies" refers to this page and not UniProtKB. It used to be that way in UniProtKB (but hasn't been for a few years now). Sorry if this is all confusing!
OK, I'll leave it with you. I thought I'd mention these things as it was the first time I had actively tried to serch for an existing modification. Once you get used to an interface you no longer notice these things so its worth mentioning your initial experiences.
So, what would you recommend as the best way to see existing modifications already in Pro for any gene product? Is there a better way (I still didn't find the existing modification that I was looking for).
Best

See the attached pic for instructions. The best place to see the overview is on the parent term denoting the non-species-specific protein (PR:00027506 in this case).
To find such terms using a search, go to the PRO page, perform your search as usual (using the "Search PRO" box), then refine the search by selecting "All modified forms" where the page says "Quick links" above the table of results.
Thanks, I totally overlooked the "Protein Forms" link...I think because I was concentrating on the main large table.....its obvious now....
