The first demo of the engine has been released. It doesn't look like much yet, but it particularly demonstrates the engine's modability.

We have implemented basic texture loading. Textures can be loaded from a description file which includes information like the material type. A default error texture can also be loaded if there is an error loading a texture. We are now officially supporting PNG for textures.
Boost::Spirit will be playing a major role in the parsing of our description files. Bison and flex were becoming a little bit of overkill for the small job of those files.
The code for all this will be added to the repoitory shortly.
Our engine is up to the stage where I was able to take a screenshot. It has a camera, can draw skyboxes and 3d models and has various other non renderer related features. The screenshot is very basic since I can't make good textures or models, but it demonstrates what it can do.
