[PreViking-devel] driver async model + test cases

You may have noticed that the CVS has branched.  A 0.5.0 branch has been
created which is solely there for the remainder of 0.5.0 to be done.  In
HEAD, I committed the driver async model framework and now I have
committed a test case for it.  I have used cUnit which is at
http://people.codefactory.se/~spotty/cunit/ and using this I noticed
some bugs in the code which I have also committed fixes for.

Another thing I committed was an autoconf/automake cleanup which now
allows PreViking to be compiled okay on RH 7.2.

Now the async model framework is complete, I am going to start working
on the parameters for the commands I mentioned in my previous email.
