PRepS Problem Reporting System / News: Recent posts

I have started another devl series. With this devl series, the database schema will change a little. I also, have split libPRepS off from the main distribution, as I hope to create different UI's for the same database. You download and install both packages.

The current PRepS distribution runs with PostgreSQL v6.5.3. If you want to run PRepS with PostgreSQL v7.x, there are a couple of SQL scripts that will need to be updated. I have patches available at the PRepS homepage (I will upload them here, when I have a chance, also).

If you would like to migrate and existing PRepS database from PostgreSQL v6.5.3 to PostgreSQL v7.x, there are a couple of modifications that will need to be made to the pg_dump file before it is restored. See the PRepS homepage (http://www.execpc.com/~stuffle/linux/preps.html) for details.
