An obvious improvement would be multiple fire. So before the shutter button appears, one could choose two parameters, a shotdelay and shotnumber. Then the palm would send the shutter release signal shotnumber times every shotdelay seconds.
Then this would be better than the remote control.

This would be GREAT. Right now the person with the remote control has to be fairly close to the camera, and with a group photo. The further away I am, the more likely it is that the signal will be missed. But with this I could put the remote right next to the camera, solving the problem.
Currently, the only way to do this is with the camera attached to a computer and running the Pentax Digital Camera Utility, which is great in a studio, but not good on the road. If only there was a way to run the PDCU right from the PDA, which has the power, but I can't see how they would connect. The PDCU communicates with the Camera via USB
