I am encountering the same problem and posted that a few days ago. See http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=2852729&forum_id=773 from the archives. This is my tcpdump, it is not filtered. Maybe it contains some "noise". Hope that helps: pptpclient is brainbug.datenwelt.net, win2003-pptp-server is 213.239.192.78.1723 % tcpdump -i eth0 not port 22 12:04:38.886083 brainbug.datenwelt.net.32788 > 213.239.192.78.1723: S 2153979753:2153979753(0) win 5840 <mss 1460,sackOK,timestamp 17710275 0,nop,wscale 0> (DF) 12:04:38.887025 brainbug.datenwelt.net.32768 > alberich.datenwelt.net.domain: 25999+ PTR? 2.88.138.193.in-addr.arpa.
