The rest of the log is just the wind-up.

If you have only changed the kernel, it is likely to be missing MPPE,
and so solution 1 applies.  Solution 2 is unlikely to be the fix, but it
is probably worth trying that.  What are the results of the MPPE tests
in the fault tree?
