having a strange problem here. the icons don't show up in the web browser. when i try to open an icon directly through the web brower it says you don't have permission to access the file. (i checked the location and they are in the right spot)
I tried opening them directly off my file system, and no luck either. this time opera says cannot open file. I checked permissions on the files and directory and it is readable by all.
so then I ran opera as root and tried to open the icons off my file system. this time it worked.
i just don't know what the problem could be other than permissions and they seem to be fine...

I figured it out. (actually my housemate did)
the icons folder and all its subfolders don't have the executable bit set...
