Is powersave running? Sometimes the meassage about not running D-Bus could also mean powersave or HAL is not running. We fixed IIRC this already at the repository.

I'm an ArchLinux user and build kpowersave via AUR.
kpowersave says that there is no dbus running, although it is. It is listed in ps output; I also restarted it...
So if I right-click the powersave icon there are not really much entries ;-)
Versions:
dbus 0.93-1
kpowersave 0.6.2-3
Any hint? Is dbus too new?
