    use firebird from 2000, we have around 10 databases, couple of them ~5T each.
    DB developing and administration takes around 0.05 man power. Excellent!

    We use fb since 2009, we have 20 database of different sizes (100Mb to 10 GB). Excellent performance with minimal maintenance.
