First off, congrats on the nice tool!
A small enhancement I'd like to see eventually: Make it possible for the user to reorder the headers above the package listing (packages, installed, recommended, download size description). I have a rel. small screen so the description mostly gets cut off after a few words. I don't care at all about the download size though as I have a fast connection, so I'd like to put the description before it.

Perhaps for porthole-0.7.0. I am trying to finish a few things to get a 0.6.0 version out very soon.
What you could do in the mean time is (drat, we didn't get that added to the package view yet) is de-select some of the columns to display. I might be able to get that part added to a -0.6.0 release soon. I don't think I can get the re-ordering part in for -0.6 though.
