Sometimes I want to browse available packages for
upgrading, then copy down the names, so I can emerge
them later. Porthole should have some way to do this.
I believe what you were trying to do is explained in one of
the other bugs you submitted (the -u option). I do not know
how easy what you are asking for can be accomplished. At
this time there are a lot of other problems and coding that
have a much higher precedence.

to iterate through checked packages in current window, add
their names and versions to a string, then copy that string
to the clipboard? I don't imagine it would take more than 15
lines of code. This is all this request is asking for, and
