I'm trying to install portfwd on AIX 4.3.3 I have installed the IBM-supplied GNU tools. I've built other proxies (jumpgate is a generic TCP proxy like portfwd, but portfwd is more flexible, and jftpgw is an application-level FTP proxy) with success. Portfwd ./configures fine but make gives: host# gmake gmake all-recursive gmake[1]: Entering directory `/opt/freeware/portfwd/portfwd-0.22' Making all in getopt gmake[2]: Entering directory `/opt/freeware/portfwd/portfwd-0.22/getopt' gmake[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'. gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/freeware/portfwd/portfwd-0.22/getopt' Making all in src gmake[2]: Entering directory `/opt/freeware/portfwd/portfwd-0.22/src' g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.. -I../src -Wall -ggdb -O3 -c host_map.cc host_map.cc: In method `void host_map::udp_forward (const sockaddr_in *, const i p_addr *, int, const char *, int) const': host_map.cc:129: `MSG_PROXY' undeclared (first use this function) host_map.cc:129: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once host_map.cc:129: for each function it appears in.) gmake[2]: *** [host_map.o] Error 1 gmake[2]: Leaving directory `/opt/freeware/portfwd/portfwd-0.22/src' gmake[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/freeware/portfwd/portfwd-0.22' gmake: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2 host# (I know this isn't "freeware" by the way, I didn't set up the directory names...) I'm not a programmer, though I do understand programming a bit. Thanks for any advice.
