I've just discovered this wonderful tool - PortFwd. But, I've got some doubts about its functionalities.
I've read in the limitations that " Port ranges cannot be forwarded. Ports must be specified in a one-by-one basis "
So, if I'm to redirect all tcp and udp traffic with a src address of AAA.AAA.AAA.AAA and with a port range of 5000-5999 to be redirected to ports 5000 - 5999 on a new machine BBB.BBB.BBB.BBB, Will I have to have 1000 entries in my config file. Or is there an easy way to do so.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks,
KalC

Yes, you will need 1000 entries in the config file.
But this is not recommended, because it would
spawn 1000 processes, probably overloading
your system.
I believe there is no good way of forwarding
many ports with Portfwd.
