When i try and install the rpm i get this message:

Error! Application of patch linux-2.6.2-pad.patch failed. Check /var/lib/dkms/kernel_ppp_mppe/0.0.4/build/ for more information.
Error! Could not locate ppp_generic.ko for module kernel_ppp_mppe in the DKMS tree.
Any help appreciated
This may sound stupid but, do you have the patch utility installed? Is it in your $PATH ?
