Do a "rpm -q --changelog kernel-smp-2.4.18-18mppe.i686.rpm"

Can someone help me?
I've installed kernel-smp-2.4.18-18mppe.i686.rpm and when i try to run lilo tu update the configuration then it said
Added linux *
Fatal: Kernel /boot/vmlinux-2.4.18-18mppesmp is too big
My lilo.conf seems correct
image=/boot/vmlinux-2.4.18-18mppesmp
label=linuxsmpmppe
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.4.18-18mppesmp.img
read-only
root=/dev/ida/c0d0p2
