While trying to organize my address book, I went to
delete an address entry and instead deleted my
entire "Friends" alias section.
And of course, the change was instantly saved to disk
with no hope of recovery.
I think a confirmation panel needs to be added here
considering the large amount of data that can so easily
be lost. It wouldn't hurt if the "Remove" button changed
to "Remove Aliases" at the same time.
It also wouldn't hurt if we kept a backup of the
information.
And an undo feature would be even better, but probably
not a simple change.
