It's not clear to me if this feature simply isn't
implemented yet, or if there is some context or
configuration precondition I have not figured out. New
Folder menu item is always dfisabled...doesnt seem to
matter what is selected in the tree...
good point. the 'new folder' menu item doesn't work at all. :)
you can create folders, but you do it through the 'subscribe folders'
item, which is available either in the Mail menu or from the context
menu of the mail store. to create a new folder, just go into whatever
directory you want it to be created in, type the name of the new mail
folder into the File name field, and press 'Select'.
i'll get rid of the New Folder button since it doesn't really do anything.

Hmm. I'd seen that "subscribe folders" and hadn't known what
it meant and didn't get any results from trying it. I don't
see how creating a new folder is "subscribing"... "New
folder" is much more direct and untuitive...
Getting past the nomenclature, having the dialog box work
that way is also counter-intuitive and not how such dialogs
are supposed to work. (Maybe you know this, and this is just
there until you have time to implement it a better way.)
