PolyViz / News: Recent posts

Windows 7 binaries are now available! Visual Studio 2008 project files have been added to svn and the source package download for those wishing to build from source on windows.

I recently posted the first file releases for PolyViz. Currently there is a binary release only for OS X, specifically 10.6 on intel processors. Broader binary support is in the works but I do not have a date for planned availability of other binaries. Currently, the package to download for other operating systems is the source package.

Build System
------------------
The source package (and svn) have build systems set up for OS X and Linux using Xcode project files and Code::Blocks project files respectively. Unfortunately there is NO BUILD SYSTEM FOR WINDOWS INCLUDED. One is in the works but since the library users I interact with on a daily basis are using it on OS X or Linux, those build systems were a priority. If someone is interested in using PolyViz on windows get in touch with me, I would be happy to provide help and some of the work of getting Visual Studio project files or something similar working.... read more
