Dear All, Dear Basile, I am pleased to announce the new shweby-1.0 release. Basile has described earlier the testing package (Shweby-1.0-testing-2), this package is removed from the sourceforge site and replaced by shweby-1.0.tar.gz. You can find the new package at the following location: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=81619&release_id=19951 9 I confirm that the version 1.0 of Shweby has a better web configuration interface that allows the administrator to change the filtering level "at the fly", i.e. without restarting the proxy. The web interface can be obtained from any HTTP browser (I had tested it with Mozilla) by requesting this url: http://hostname:3128/ where hostname is the name of the machine where Shweby runs and 3128 is a listening port of Shweby. To use the web interface, please refer to the user manual "README.html" included in the release package. I have also included a sample configuration file for the POESIA project called "poesia.xml", which does the equivalent of what does the previous configuration file (shweby_config-0.9.2.xml). I hope this release will help in POESIA software. If you have any problem running Shweby or configuring it, if you have any feature request, feel free to write to me, I'll do my best to respond. Best regards, Riadh. > -----Original Message----- > From: poe...@li... > [mailto:poe...@li...]On Behalf Of Basile > STARYNKEVITCH > Sent: vendredi 28 novembre 2003 22:20 > To: poe...@li...; ri...@me... > Subject: [Poesia-devel] shweby 1.0 testing2 > > > > Dear All, > > I had no problems compiling Shweby 1.0 testing-2 from sourceforge. > > I compiled it with GNU G++ 3.3 on my Debian/Sid > > > Riahd told me that there are lots of new features in Shweby, including > a web interface to dynamically choose the ICAP service.
