#15 Necessity of the mandatory attribute MetricAvailability

Do we need to define the MetricAvailability in all cases? Currently, we have to as the attribute is mandatory. Additionally, we have to define which availability has to be chosen. It is not possible to define: we would recommend A, however, B is also possible.

I generally agree, however there might be situations where both options are possible. Honestly, I am not sure whether this situation takes place in real life, but as the attribute is part of BICEPS there must be cases where both options are possible, don't they?

I would suggest to make this attribute optional for the PoCSpec custom XSD with the following semantics:

• No value provided: The Provider can decide on its own according to the reality in the device
• If a value is provided: This MetricAvailability SHALL be used.
