Some / most device can only be recognized as monopolar / bipolar, however not whether it is a tweezers, scissors etc.

Whenever the device cannot recognize, the OPERATOR has to configure this. -> maybe provide this configuration via SDC.

    As long as the instrument provides not the information by itself, we should only limit this to the possible HF-mode. There is no need for the configuration of the instrument type for the standard devices.

    The situation is valid for instruments without identification chip. However, when somebody plugs in such a device, the instrument selection will be done directly at the device. We do not see a use case for an SDC-based external control operation.
