Given that keeping them does not add any processing or code size, and that it might be useful to get them from a built version a user reports a bug in, I would go for a POCL_DEBUG environment variable where special values for keeping those files are added (similar to the dynamic linker ld.so does). Although pocl is not yet mature enough for 1.0 (and has still pending items in the 1.0-TODO list) the user base has grown enough to justify a release, allowing users who are not pocl developers to get a working and somewhat stable source base, and hopefully attracting more beta/alpha testers. >> >> The tentative schedule is: >> >> Wed 18.01.2012: release branch created >> Wed 25.01.2012: release (this will be pushed backwards when a critical bug is found, ensuring release happens at least two days after last critical fix). >> >> Please try to send any work-in-progress patches you might be working on before release branch creation date, if you want it to be included in the current release. >> >> Happy pocl'ing! >> >> pocl maintainers >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> RSA(R) Conference 2012 >> Mar 27 - Feb 2 >> Save $400 by Jan. 27 >> Register now! >> http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev2 >> _______________________________________________ >> Pocl-devel mailing list >> Poc...@li... >> https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/pocl-devel > > > -- > Pekka > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > RSA(R) Conference 2012 > Mar 27 - Feb 2 > Save $400 by Jan. 27 > Register now! > http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev2 > _______________________________________________ > Pocl-devel mailing list > Poc...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/pocl-devel |
